New World Order

I wanted to take a moment to give a brief update on the Telrex product plans for this year. There are some exciting new plans in place for 2011 that I thought I would share.

In June of 2010, Telrex became a member of the Enghouse Systems Limited family of global technology solutions. The significance of this union with Enghouse is what it brings in the way of strength that comes with having access to a world-wide technology team and the backing of an economically sound and financially stable global firm. This strength will greatly facilitate a renewed product focus and inspire forward momentum to expand the product to provide greater options and improved value. This new energy will not be a departure from the price performance strategy that has been the core of success of Telrex solutions in the past.

The first of the releases from Telrex as part of our new organization is the release of the latest version of CallRex Call Recording. The CallRex 4.0 release represents a launching pad for the next generation of Telrex call recording solutions. This release is built to grow with the expanding needs of business to provide high levels of customer service, compliance with ever-changing regulatory concerns, maximizing on “new economy” levels of reduced resource pools, and manage the threats of liability. The upcoming releases of CallRex will bring expanded functionality that meets the demands as expressed by the loyal user community and the expanding market.

Even more significant to the new functionality provided in CallRex 4.0 is the introduction of the CallRex Quality Management Suite. The bundled suite extends the added modules of CallRex Computer Recording and CallRex Agent Evaluation at a price point that places all of the benefits of workforce optimization within reach.

As exciting as this release news is, it’s only the start. Our next release is scheduled for early spring and will include our expanded support for Microsoft Lync 2010, new licensing options, and localization for Spanish language. Additional impending projects for this year include work towards addressing the growing needs brought about by the adoption of the PCI standards, demands for greater security and encryption options, and a new reporting infrastructure to provide improved business analytics. We are also going to be introducing a brand new CallRex Workforce Management solution in early Summer.

It’s going to be a busy year for the Telrex team members and I am certainly glad to be a part of it and the family of world-wide customers and partners they have built. If you have any further questions about our exciting plans this year we encourage you to contact your Telrex representative or send a note to marketing@telrex.com.

Until next time,

Bruce Sherman, Product Manager
